MidtSim contributes to increased patient safety by promoting simulation-based educational activities for health professionals at undergraduate and postgraduate level in Central Denmark Region.

On an annual basis, MidtSim contributes to the education of approximately 14,000 learners.

MidtSim pursues the following objectives in order to reach its goals:

• MidtSim will ensure a high academic level and a research-based approach to inter-professional simulation-based training in Central Denmark Region.
• MidtSim will strive to increase patient safety and patient-perceived quality through application of simulation in Central Denmark Region.
• MidtSim will ensure that all healthcare professionals in Central Denmark Region get the opportunity to practice through simulation-based activities prior to treating patients.
